Lepo Product's L28 Moderno chair is a longtime favorite among design lovers. The chair combines ergonomic comfort with a timeless silhouette, making it a perfect fit for both private homes and public spaces alike. Designed by Professor Yrjö Kukkapuro in the early 1960s, the Moderno collection was originally born from a brief to create a fitting chair for a shoe store. The result was not just one chair, but a whole family of seating options, including work chairs, café chairs and rocking chairs.
Today, the beloved classic has been refreshed with a contemporary touch. The Moderno chair is now upholstered in a semi-aniline leather designed by Danish designer Stine Goya, adding a playful and joyous flair to the chair's minimalist form. The understated metal frame and harmonious color palette ensure the chair stands out just the right amount, blending effortlessly into both minimalist and more eclectic décors.
