Kendo swivel chair, black leather - black
Description
The Kendo chair by Hem features an upholstered, cup-shaped seat and a 360-degree rotating aluminum swivel base. Expressive and minimalist at the same time, the Kendo chair is well suited as an office chair as well as a dining chair. The return function of the swivel base keeps the chairs neatly aligned for example around the dining table.
Created by design studio LucidiPevere, the softly shaped, upholstered seat of the Kendo chair provides a comfortable and supported sitting position, and thanks to its generous size, it also has enough space to move freely and shift position. The aluminum frame gives the Kendo chair a sleek overall look and a stable, durable structure.

Paolo Lucidi (Udine, 1974) and Luca Pevere (Udine, 1977) studied at the Milan Polytechnic, where they graduated in Industrial Design. After graduation Lucidi worked for a while in the studio of Piero Lissoni and Pevere learnt with Clino Trini Castelli and with Marco Ferreri.
Pevere and Lucidi got their first commission together in 2002 and in 2006 they established their own studio Lucidi & Pevere. These days, they are very well known designers and they work for internationally renowned companies.
