Louisiana Museum of Modern Art's colorful My Liberties poster brings themes of freedom, love and self-expression straight to your wall. The original work, My Liberties – Blue (2019) by Dorothy Iannone, is one of three Statue of Liberty-inspired murals displayed in New York’s High Line park between 2018 and 2020. Known for her bold visual language and vibrant use of color, Iannone has explored themes of love, sexuality and spirituality in her art since the early 1960s. The My Liberties poster was released in 2022 as part of Louisiana’s Louisiana on Paper series, which showcases both contemporary and classic works on paper.

American artist Dorothy Iannone (1933–2022) moved boldly against the current throughout her decades-long career. In her vivid and colorful work, she explored even the most intimate themes of freedom, love, and sexuality with striking honesty and personal depth. Iannone created a world entirely her own, filled with rich decorative motifs, mythological references and autobiographical symbolism.
