GUBI's Coppia table lamp brings together shades and shapes in a stylish yet effortless way. Designer Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt, drawing inspiration from geometry, has taken her favorite shape the circle. Using stainless steel and two acrylic panels in different colors and sizes, she has crafted a visually striking luminaire that fits perfectly on a nightstand, a cozy reading nook in the living room, or a top of the shelf to brighten up an entryway.

Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt

The Danish designer Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt (b.1967) graduated from the Danish School of Design in 1994. In the beginning of her career she was mainly working with unique ceramic pieces, but has, later on, turned to wood and lasercut plexi-glass. Fonnesberg Schmidt’s work is characterized by simple, geometrical forms.
