KOLO’s Bucket and Ladle set, designed by Brita Flander in 2016, brings modern, innovative design to the traditional Finnish sauna. Besides throwing water on the sauna heater, the ladle also functions as the handle for the bucket. The bucket and ladle are made of painted aluminum, and the ladle has a light bamboo handle. The Bucket and Ladle set is available in timeless shades of black and white.

Brita Flander

Brita Flander (b. 1957) is a Finnish designer known especially for her harmonic and timeless lamps and glass design. During her long career, Flander has worked with well-known Finnish brands such as Skanno, Artek and Marimekko, and designed items to places like the Stockmann department store in Helsinki and Mäntyniemi, the official residence of the President of Finland. Flander’s work belongs to the collections of both Finnish and international museums, including the National Museum of Finland, Helsinki’s Design Museum, Musée des Arts Decoratifs de Louver in Paris and the Corning Museum of Glass in United States.
