Description

Louisiana Museum of Modern Art's poster features Cadran Lunaire (1935) by the Austrian-Mexican artist Wolfgang Paalen. The original artwork was shown alongside more than 150 other pieces in the museum’s 2018 exhibition called The Moon – From the Inner World to the Outer Space, which explored the moon through art, film, music, literature, and design. Paalen’s quietly striking piece captures the theme beautifully: its pared-back graphic expression and subtle sense of mystique draw the viewer’s thoughts far into the sky.

Louisiana Museum of Modern Art’s poster collection includes prints from iconic exhibitions held at the Danish museum over the years. Printed on high-quality paper, posters bring a stylish touch of contemporary art to your walls.
