Serax’s Surface cutlery set is chef Sergio Herman’s elegant nod to classic French dining traditions. With their smooth lines and timeless form, the pieces are designed to feel effortlessly comfortable in the hand – inspired by the cutlery once used at Herman’s former three-Michelin-star restaurant, Oud Sluis, and carried through to his later restaurants as well.

Crafted from stainless steel, the 24-piece set includes six dinner knives, forks, tablespoons and coffee spoons. A stone-washed finish lends the Surface cutlery a modern, laid-back character that suits both everyday meals and more festive occasions.

Sergio Herman

Dutch chef Sergio Herman is celebrated not only for his award-winning cuisine but also for his refined sense of atmosphere and table aesthetics. His career began at the family-owned restaurant Oud Sluis, which he transformed into a true culinary destination, earning three Michelin stars and a place on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list for an impressive eight years. In 2013, Herman closed the doors of Oud Sluis to focus on new adventures. Since then, he has founded several acclaimed restaurants and designed his own tableware collections that delight with their thoughtful functionality and timeless beauty.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

15% GST is included in all prices presented on our website.

Private customers: For orders of NZD$1,000 or less, a 15% GST is included in the prices. For orders over NZD$1,000, GST is collected by New Zealand customs and therefore deducted from the total amount. The deduction is visible in the cost breakdown at checkout.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by local customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
