Description

Ishinomaki Laboratory’s AA high stool is a clever and minimalist wooden piece made up of two triangular components. Shaped like the letter A and resembling trestle legs, each part can be used individually as a small stool or combined to create a wider, more stable seat. You can also line them up to form a narrow, high bench or use them as a simple side table.

Versatile and adaptable, the AA high stools are an ideal solution for small spaces or as extra seating when guests arrive. Standing 70 cm tall, the bar stools are crafted from Japanese hardwood with distinctive grain patterns, and finished with a protective laminate surface that resists stains and knocks.

Based in Tokyo, the studio builds its work on architectural thinking and moves effortlessly across different disciplines – from architecture and interiors to exhibitions, product design, installations and film. Torafu Architects has received several international accolades for its work, including the iF Design Award and the Good Design Award. Its projects also include the renovation of Nagahara Station in Tokyo, which was awarded the Asia Design Prize 2024.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.
