Description

The Alu dining table by valerie objects was originally designed for the 2015 Milan World Fair. The colourful table charms with its hues but finding the right colour combination for this series wasn't so easy for the design studio Muller Van Severen. That's why they decided to choose several different combinations, ranging from very playful colours to slightly more serious ones – but of course not too subdued. After all, it is Muller van Severen we are talking about! The colourful dining table combines beautifully with the chairs of the Alu range.

The Alu dining table is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The lightweight but extremely durable table has been treated with beeswax and a UV-protective lacquer that together ensure that the surface will stay bright and protected from sun, rain and wind.

Muller Van Severen

Muller Van Severen, founded in 2011, is a collaboration of two Belgian designers, Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen, balancing somewhere between art and design. The two are known for their sculptural and interesting designs that convey their love for carefully selected high-quality materials – which often are the starting point for the duo’s designs. Although careful research is essential for Muller Van Severen, the duo's designs are often so minimalistic and simple, naive even, that one could easily think they were sketched up completely intuitively.
