Description

As its name suggests, the Material pendant by New Works plays with different materials. The pendants of the Material family all share the same shape, but the materials vary from wood and metal to marble, ceramic and concrete. When combined together, Material pendants create unique, eye-catching clusters.

Design studio Noergaard & Kechayas created the Material range originally for bar and restaurant use, but it just as easily lights up a conference room, hotel lobby or your own kitchen or living room. What's your favourite Material?

Noergaard & Kechayas

The Danish designers Christian Noergaard and Martin Kechayas established the design studio Noergaard & Kechayas in 2009. The Copenhagen-based studio concentrates on industrial, furniture and lightning design. Noergaard and Kechayas are two very different characters. Noergaard is calm and pensive and has a critical approach on design whereas Kechayas has a lot of ideas and temperament. When designing these differences complement each other and create a strong dynamic between the designers.

    We love the design , the look and feel of the shade. The picture is slightly different to how the mixed cork looks in reality (there’s much less of a contrast in real life between the different cork colours) and that was what initially drew my attention to the pendant however it still looks great.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
CHF 178.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over CHF 2400.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from CHF 50 to CHF 150  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over CHF 150
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over CHF 120

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
