HAY’s Terrazzo table is a minimalist piece of furniture that charms with its colourful terrazzo base. Designer Daniel Enoksson had discovered the durable concrete-like material, also seen in the Stockholm subway platforms, years ago and thought it was a pity it hadn’t been used more in the furniture industry. He designed a simple steel table that is suitable both for indoor and outdoor use. A block of terrazzo keeps the Terrazzo table upright and creates a playful contrast with the reduced table top and leg.
