Fritz Hansen’s Solae, designed by Cecilie Manz, is a portable table lamp that combines a pleasant, glare-free light with a clear, architectural design language. The Solae lamp is composed of a column-like oval base and a slim, circular top that directs the light downwards towards the base and the tabletop, creating a calm and well-balanced illumination.
The lamp is charged using the included USB-C cable, and its three-step dimming function allows the light to be adjusted from bright task lighting to a soft ambient glow. Lightweight and cordless, the lamp is easy to move wherever light is needed – from a reading corner to a dining table. Thanks to its IP44 rating, Solae can also be used temporarily outdoors.
