Description

The Jane January plate by Serax brings a touch of Shurleey’s – also known as Shirley Villavicencio Pizango – vibrant and joy-filled world straight to your table. The Belgian-Peruvian artist is known for her delightfully unconventional and vibrantly coloured vases and vessels, now reimagined by Serax as part of the playful Santiago de Borja collection.

Made from ceramic, the lively Jane January plate is hand-painted, making each detail truly unique. The set includes two different plates, perfect for breakfast, lunches, and more festive dinners, and just as lovely for displaying treats or small treasures around the home.

Shurleey

The Belgian–Peruvian artist Shirley Villavicencio Pizango, also known as Shurleey, has quickly become one of the most exciting voices in contemporary painting. She is known for her playful, vibrant, and boldly expressive portraits of family, friends, and everyday acquaintances. Shurleey's distinctive style breaks away from traditional rules: perspective is intentionally disregarded, lines are confidently applied, and large, raw fields of colour create a striking, modern visual language that deeply resonates with the viewer.
