Parlare Förlag’s Treasures from Moominvalley – The Collector's Guide to Tove Jansson's Moomins is a comprehensive reference book for every Moomin fan. Swedish journalist and collector Anders Landén spent over two years compiling this extensive volume, resulting in a 500+ page collector’s guide with more than 1,200 images. It offers a rich cultural history of Moomin-related phenomena from the 1950s onwards.

The book introduces readers not only to Tove Jansson’s beloved stories but also to a wide range of Moomin collectibles – from ceramic figurines made by Leo Tykkyläinen in the 1950s to handcrafted dolls by Atelier Fauni, Arabia tableware, and the imaginative cover art of over 400 Moomin books published around the world. It also features a collection of children’s bedroom murals and Moomin-themed handkerchiefs.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Private customers

  • Orders up to AU$1,100 (product total incl. GST, excl. shipping):
    • 10% GST is included in our prices and paid at checkout, so there are no customs charges on delivery.
  • Orders over AU$1,100:
    • GST is removed from your total at checkout. GST, any applicable import duties and customs fees are paid on delivery.

Business customers

By providing a valid ABN, you confirm that you are registered for GST in Australia. GST is then removed from your total, and your business accounts for GST itself. For orders over AU$1,100, GST is collected by Australian customs on import.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

GST & Import Charges
