Description

Aarikka's Ram lounge chair takes its cue from the much-loved Pässi sculpture by Kaija Aarikka, which designer Roosa Ryhänen has reshaped into an expressive lounge chair. Proud yet gentle by nature, Ram invites you to leap into its soft embrace, while the wooden armrests curving like horns add a dash of mischief. Slender in line, the lounge chair charms on its own or gathered in a small flock – in the living room, in a bedroom corner or beside the fireplace.

Textured bouclé fabric covers the seat of the lounge chair, and its curved armrests, finished with the ball details so typical of Aarikka, are made of birch plywood. The whole handsome creature is crafted in Finland by skilled woodworkers.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.
