Description

Carl Hansen & Søn's MT221 Tulip pendant charms with its timeless aesthetic and refined shape. Created by Danish designer Marianne Tuxen for the restoration of the Carlsberg Academy in Copenhagen, the pendant lamp blends classic elegance with contemporary form in a harmonious way that fits perfectly well in living rooms, bedrooms or gracefully suspended above a restaurant dining table.

The softly rounded shade, made from opal glass, evokes the gentle beauty of a tulip just before it blooms. The luminaire casts an even, glare-free glow that brings a sense of calm to any setting. Finished with elegant brass details, the MT221 Tulip pendant is a sophisticated addition to both modern and traditional interiors.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms
