Kosta Boda’s Moss votive, designed by Åsa Jungnelius, is a characterful tealight holder with a bubbly form and lively surface that creates a beautiful setting for the soft flicker of a flame. The votive is mouth-blown at the Kosta glassworks in Småland, Sweden – a factory with centuries of expertise in glassmaking.
The Moss series is based on old moulds from the Kosta glassworks, featuring a rippling, textured surface originally carved by hand. The clear, slightly bluish crystal glass is melted down from recycled glass and surplus materials from other production processes, making each piece one of a kind with its own unique tone variations, air bubbles and surface texture.
