Description

Sleeping close to the ground has a calm all of its own, which is exactly what MUUN's Low Wood Frame is after. The solid oak bed frame, with its pale edging and low proportions, calls to mind Japanese-style beds and tatami, though the interpretation here is charmingly Scandinavian: wood, clean lines, and precise functionality. The bed frame sits only a whisper above the floor, which makes its substantial structure look light and even a smaller bedroom feel more spacious.

Made in Denmark, the Low Wood Frame has an oak surface treated with a colourless oil that brings out the natural depth and warm tone of the wood. A support structure running through the middle keeps the bed frame stable year after year, and two upholstered plywood panels give the mattress an even, solid base. The panels also have a non-slip surface that keeps the mattress firmly in place. The low bed pairs beautifully with either MUUN's MK1 Essential or MK2 Continental mattress, depending on what the sleepers need.

  • Care instructions Wipe regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. If liquid spills on the frame, wipe it up immediately with a soft cloth dampened with clean, warm water to prevent moisture from soaking into the wood. Never use abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals or multi-purpose sprays, as they will damage the wood's finish.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).
