Description
Serax’s Line-Up serving plate is decorated with loose blue sketches that bring a wonderfully carefree feel to the table. The oval plate works just as well as a dinner plate as it does for serving. You can also use it as a charger plate beneath other plates, where its blue rim beautifully frames the smaller plate and adds a splash of colour to the setting.
Dutch designer Annebet Philips kept the shapes of the Line-Up collection simple and let the sketches drawn by hand onto the porcelain do the rest. The blue illustrations hint at what each piece is for, while bringing colour and life to the table. The pieces come in different shapes and sizes, all designed to be stacked and mixed, so creating a playful table of your own couldn’t be easier.

Annebet Philips is a Dutch product and furniture designer who graduated with a master’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology in 2008. In 2013, she founded her own studio in Amsterdam and has since been working on freelance design projects and brand collaborations.
Philips is known for her ability to see everyday objects from a fresh perspective. Her designs are characterised by bold lines, clean shapes and a hand-drawn touch that together create an optimistic and playful – almost cartoon-like – visual style.
