Description

Nikari's July stool was designed by Nao Tamura. The three round elements of its seat are different not only in size but also in texture and hue – together they create an interesting ensemble that celebrates the beauty of individuality. July also functions as a modern side table.

In 2012, Nikari asked twelve designers or design studios to give their response to Nikari’s design philosophy in the form of a product. The project was called Project 2012 Designs for Nature: Nikari co-operates with the Finnish WWF and part of the sales price is donated to protecting rainforests and forests globally.

Nikari products are made in Finland using only certified wood.

Nao Tamura

Nao Tamura studied communication design at Parsons School of Design in New York. She founded her studio in Tokyo and is currently based in New York City. As a product of Tokyo and New York City creative communities, her solutions are equally at ease in the world of 2-D and 3-D with an uncanny ability to find that emotional connection with the audience. 

Tamura defies the kind of categorization that the industry status quo often insists upon. Her unique solutions possess a rare balance of innovation and beauty. Nao Tamura has received a number of awards including the IF Award, Red Dot Design Award, Industrial Design Excellence Award and Milano Salone Satellite Award.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a return shipping fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The return shipping fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
