Description

Fredericia’s Insula coffee table combines organic, smooth forms with straight, sharp lines. The Insula table features a curved tabletop and an angular aluminium frame, both of which are skillfully designed using asymmetrical elements. The end result is a harmonious and distinctive coffee table that will easily find its place in a private living room, public lobby or office.

Designed by the Danish duo Ernst & Jensen, the Insula tables are shaped like small islands or floating clouds when viewed from above. Released in 2009, the Insula collection boasts minimalist elegance as well as creative playfulness, and the different sizes of the tables also look beautiful when clustered together.

Ernst & Jensen

Ernst & Jensen is a Danish design duo formed by Morten Ernst and Anne-Mette Jensen. Both of them are furniture architects who have graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Their works are often characterised by combinations of symmetrical forms and organic shapes as well as playful and surprising dimensions.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
