Description

Frandsen’s Hito lamp combines a sculptural base crafted from black marble pieces with a rounded opal glass shade resting gracefully on top. This versatile design works both as a table lamp and mounted against a wall.

The soft, glare-free light filtered through the white glass shade creates a gentle glow, ideal for atmospheric lighting or a calm reading light in a bedroom or living area. Thanks to the three-step dimmer, the brightness can be adjusted to suit the moment. The pairing of two natural materials gives Hito an elegant, decorative presence that appeals even when the lamp is switched off.

Toni Rie

Toni Rie is a Danish designer best known for her versatile lighting designs and long-standing collaboration with lighting manufacturer Frandsen, where she has served as Head of Design since 2013. Over the course of her career, Rie has created an extensive range of lamps, drawing inspiration from around the world. Her work is characterised by clean geometric lines paired with gentle, organic forms.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
