Description

Serax's Fête des Bêtes sugar bowl brings a playful twist to the fancy table setting, yet this charming little serving bowl works just as beautifully in everyday use. Finished in lively hues and topped with a lid, the porcelain bowl is perfect for serving both sugar cubes and loose sugar.

Part of the Les Objets Mouleversants collection, created in collaboration with Serax and the jewellery brand Wouters & Hendrix, the Fête des Bêtes series draws inspiration from 1920s surrealism. The collection’s imaginative pieces are like jewels for the home: they are designed to catch the eye, spark conversation, and delight with their distinctive character from one table setting to the next.

Wouters & Hendrix

Wouters & Hendrix is a Belgian jewellery brand founded in 1984 by Katrin Wouters and Karen Hendrix, both trained goldsmiths from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Their distinctive style draws inspiration from surrealism and the punk movement of the 1980s, resulting in bold, boundary-pushing designs that challenge traditional jewellery norms.

Over the years, the Wouters & Hendrix collection has expanded to include home décor and small objects, all infused with the same avant-garde spirit that defines their iconic jewellery pieces.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

We want you to love your purchase—that’s why we offer 30-day returns.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
