Description

Louis Poulsen’s PH 1/1 Portable is a rechargeable, cordless version of Poul Henningsen’s iconic lamp design. This compact and easy-to-carry table lamp features adjustable colour temperature and dimming options, either stepless or in four levels. Thanks to its splash-proof construction, it can also be used outdoors on a balcony or in the garden. The lamp can be charged via USB-C or wireless Qi charging, and depending on the brightness level, it provides light for approximately 5 to 60 hours on a single charge.

PH 1/1 Portable is part of Poul Henningsen’s lighting family, united by the designer’s innovative three-shade system developed in the 1920s. The three-tiered opal glass shades, with sandblasted inner surfaces, work together to create soft, glare-free illumination while also serving as a distinctive decorative element.

Poul Henningsen

Poul Henningsen (1894–1967) was a renowned Danish designer. He studied at the Technical School in Frederiksberg from 1911 to 1914 and continued his education at the Technical University of Copenhagen from 1914 to 1917. Henningsen began his career as an architect, but gradually shifted his focus to lighting and lamp design. Later in his life, he also worked as a journalist and writer.

Henningsen’s long-standing collaboration with Louis Poulsen began in 1925 and continued until his death. His ingenious lighting designs remain a cornerstone of Louis Poulsen’s collection to this day. He also served as the first editor of Louis Poulsen’s corporate magazine, NYT. Henningsen’s work explored the structure of light, shadow, reflection and colour rendering – themes that still influence the company’s design philosophy.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.
