Amalie Skov Rahbæk is a Danish designer who has graduated from VIA University College. Rahbæk lives in Aarhus and runs her own studio named Design by Skov. Her work combines the traditional esthetics of Scandinavian design with fresh, contemporary ideas.

Halusin seinäkiinnitteiset, sirot yöpöydät ja ihastuin näihin. Aito puu ja tanskalainen muotoilu vakuuttivat minut. Korkeasta hinnasta huolimatta halusin satsata laatuun. Pettymys oli suunnattoman suuri, kun paketin saatuani huomasin ”made in China” -tarrat. Luulin, että Finnish design shop:in idea on juuri suomalaiset ja Scandi tuotteet. Tuotekuvauksessa ei ollut mainintaa alkuperämaasta, hehkutettiin vain tanskalaista muotoilijaa. Tuote sinällään on kaunis ja sellainen, kuin toivoinkin. Myös toimitus oli nopea. Tämä jäänee kuitenkin ensimmäiseksi ja viimeiseksi tilauksekseni tästä kaupasta.
