Description

Nedre Foss’ Sammu candle snuffer is not only a functional candle extinguisher but also a charming small sculpture featuring a tactile brass surface with a pleasant feel. Designed by Julie and Mika Tolvanen, the shape of Sammu resembles an imaginary fruit or a small bell. When placed on a coffee table, Sammu invites you to both look and touch.

The Sammu candle snuffer pairs great with Nedre Foss’ Ildhane candlestick, also designed by Julie and Mika Tolvanen. Over time, Sammu’s brass surface will develop a sophisticated, lively patina – or, if you prefer, you can maintain the sheen of the brass by polishing the surface regularly.

  • Width: 2.44 in (6.2 cm)
  • Height: 3.27 in (8.3 cm)
  • Diameter: 1.3 in (3.3 cm)

  • Weight 0.21 lbs (0.1 kg)
  • Notes Please note that the brass surface is untreated. This means that the surface will change over time and develop a patina.

A beautiful piece that can be displayed as opposed to hidden in a drawer!

Excellent. It goes very well with the Ildhane candleholder.
