Fiskars X Iittala scissors bring together two iconic Finnish brands in one beautifully crafted design. Part of Iittala’s Klaus Haapaniemi collection, these scissors follow the familiar shape and functionality of classic Fiskars scissors, but instead of the traditional orange, they are adorned with the enchanting Satumetsä pattern designed by Klaus Haapaniemi.
Inspired by a summery, blooming forest filled with blue deer and other mystical creatures, the Satumetsä scissors add character and charm to both kitchen and office use. They also make a thoughtful gift for design lovers. The scissors are made in Finland.

Klaus Haapaniemi (b. 1970) is one of Finland’s most internationally acclaimed illustrators and designers. His distinctive style blends themes drawn from Nordic nature, folklore and mythology with a luxurious and modern esthetic. A graduate of the Lahti Institute of Design, Haapaniemi has created prints for brands like Diesel, Levi’s and Dolce & Gabbana, and illustrated the beloved Iittala tableware series Taika and Satumetsä. Haapaniemi was named Finland’s Designer of the Year in 2008 and was awarded the Finnish State Prize for Design in 2018.
In 2010, Haapaniemi founded his own brand, Klaus Haapaniemi Co., together with his spouse Mia Wallenius. The collection features a range of high-quality textiles and decor items, such as decorative cushions and wallpapers. Having lived in London for many years, the designer now divides his time between Berlin, Germany, and Tampere, Finland.
