Folkform is a Stockholm-based design studio founded in 2005 by Swedish designers Anna Holmquist and Chandra Ahlsell. The designers met while studying at the University of Art and Design, Konstfack, and are known for their interesting, experimental grip that rattles the conventions of design.
The captivating work of Holmquist and Ahlsell calls into question, among other things, what materials and working methods we value: the duo has, for example, created furniture combining leather and faux leather or marble and marble-patterned laminate, and products made from hand-customized chipboard.
