Description

Marimekko’s Pieni Omppo cushion cover features a cheerful pattern by Jenni Tuominen, inspired by apples – a connection hinted at already in the design’s name. See, in Finnish, "omppu" is a playful word for apple, and "Omppo" echoes that same light-hearted spirit. Tuominen found her inspiration in the delightfully wonky apples growing in her cottage garden, capturing their lively forms through a collage-style pattern cut and composed from colourful papers. The Pieni Omppo cushion cover is printed in Helsinki on awning canvas made from organic cotton.

Jenni Tuominen

Jenni Tuominen (born 1976) comes from Porvoo, Finland and is an illustrator and artist. She has graduated as a blacksmith in 1996 and as an artist/printmaker in 2001. Tuominen has studied graphic design at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
 700 zł.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 15 000 zł.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 150 zł to 799 zł and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 650 zł
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 500 zł

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).
