Description

Tunturi rug by the Finnish VM Carpet is characterized by embossed surface and classic minimalism. Inspired by the Scandinavian nature, Tunturi rug was born as a project work of the Pattern Lab of Aalto University Helsinki. Woven of naturally antistatic wool and sturdy paper yarn, Tunturi rug has a stain-resistant surface coating and a non-slip EVAPOLYTEX backing. The recyclable and odourless backing material is suitable for all floor types and also for radiant heating. The rug has been made at VM Carpet’s own rug factory at the village of Karvala, Finland.

  • Material 42% wool, 58% paper yarn. Cotton edging. Backing: EVAPOLYTEX®
  • Colour Copper
  • Notes Narrow cotton edging.
  • Care instructions Regular vacuum cleaning. Remove stains immediately with clean damp cloth. Do not rub. Dry foam or gentle level wash in max. +30ºC water with mild detergent and soft brush. Do not soak or rub. Rinse carefully with plenty of water. Extract the excess water e.g. by a roller press. Shape the damp carpet with care. Air dry flat. Do not fold. Professional level washing is recommended.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

15% GST is included in all prices presented on our website.

Private customers: For orders of NZD$1,000 or less, a 15% GST is included in the prices. For orders over NZD$1,000, GST is collected by New Zealand customs and therefore deducted from the total amount. The deduction is visible in the cost breakdown at checkout.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by local customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
