Description

GUBI's T877 side table perfectly matches the iconic curves of Pierre Paulin's legendary F300 lounge chair. Much like the chair, the T877 caused a stir when it was first introduced in the 1960s as its bold, sculptural form looked like it had arrived straight from the future. Decades on, that sense of forward-looking design still holds true: the side table's playful and modern aesthetic continues to feel one step ahead of its time.

Made from eco-friendly Italian HiREK® polymer made from industrial plastic waste, the table is as sustainable as it is stylish. The lightweight yet exceptionally durable table stands up to UV rays and changing weather without losing its shape. Available in a range of charming colours, the T877 is equally at home indoors or out, whether paired with the F300 lounge chair or standing beautifully on its own.

Pierre Paulin

Pierre Paulin (1927-2009) was a French designer who became known as a pioneer of modern furniture design. Paulin created a vast collection of modernist chairs that were characterized by organic forms and strong colours. Paulin’s work was often influenced by Japanese and Scandinavian design and Charles and Ray Eames’ style. At the beginning of his career, Paulin experimented with ceramics, sculpture, as well as automobile design. Today, the family business Paulin, Paulin, Paulin continues to preserve and develop Pierre Paulin's work.
