The VV Cinquanta floor lamp by the lighting brand Astep combines a sleek tripod base with a streamlined shade that can both swivel and tilt. The VV Cinquanta floor lamp makes an excellent light source by a lounge chair, in the office or as a bedside lamp.

The Cinquanta lighting collection is a masterpiece by the Italian architect Vittoriano Viganò from 1951. The modern and lightweight design of the Cinquanta lamps was well ahead of their time, and their refined appearance is perfectly suited for all kinds of contemporary interiors. The Cinquanta lamps are manufactured in Italy using durable, high-quality materials.

Vittoriano Viganò

Vittoriano Viganò (1919–1996) was an Italian architect and designer based in Milan. He graduated from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1944, and had there a long career as a Professor in Interior Architecture and Urban Planning. He also worked as an Art Director of Arteluce for several years. Viganò always kept his eyes open to new emerging currents, and became known as a skilful interpreter of rationalist and brutalist architecture.
