Serax's Sophia serving plate combines effortless elegance with versatile functionality. The plate is easy to style from everyday meals to more refined settings: it is perfect for serving everything from fish and salads to cheeses, sushi, or desserts. The set includes two Sophia serving plates.

Designed by Marie Michielssen, the hand-painted Sophia tableware celebrates the unique charm of craftsmanship and human touch. Designed for both everyday use and special moments alike, the pieces in the collection blend influences from near and far: the spontaneous brushwork echoes the fluidity of Eastern calligraphy, while the rich blue tones are inspired by traditional Delftware, with roots in 17th-century Holland.

Marie Michielssen

Belgian designer Marie Michielssen draws her inspiration from everyday life. In her designs, she likes to combine unexpected materials and is particularly fascinated by old, sometimes even forgotten materials. Typical of her designs is also the use of contrasting colours or materials, but in a way that a certain balance, a certain harmony is preserved. Michielssen’s background as a graphic designer is also often evident in her work. Michielssen has been a house designer for the Belgian lifestyle brand Serax for many years.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

For orders shipped to non-EU countries (excluding the US, Norway, Switzerland and the UK):
