Description

GUBI’s Bat outdoor chair is characterised by a graceful shape inspired by the lines of a bat’s wingspan. Designed by the Danish-Italian duo GamFratesi, the Bat garden chair combines an inviting polypropylene shell with slim, diagonal legs that together form a lightweight, durable and weather-resistant chair that is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Bat’s minimalist yet dynamic appearance, situated somewhere between classic and unexpected, is equally well suited for dining areas, whether indoors or out on the patio, as it is for offices and conference rooms.

GamFratesi

GamFratesi studio was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam (born 1975) and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi (born 1978). The studio is based in Copenhagen, though Gam and Fratesi are continuously traveling between Italy and Denmark for development and research of new projects. GamFratesi has designed furniture and lighting fixtures to Louis Poulsen, Gubi, Hay, Fritz Hansen and Skultuna, among others.
