Description

Stelton’s Amphora vacuum jug is named after ancient Greek pottery, and in its softly flowing lines, one can indeed see references to the shapes of traditional Greek amphorae. Designed by Danish designer Sebastian Holmbäck, the thermos jug is made of stainless steel and features a glass interior that keeps tea warm for up to several hours. The thermos jug has a capacity of 1.2 litres, making it perfect for serving guests at larger tea gatherings.

  • Notes It is recommended that the vacuum jug be preheated prior to pouring hot liquids in to avoid extreme temperature fluctuations.
  • Care instructions Rinse the jug with clear water for cleaning. Do not use a wire brush or any other tool to clean the inside of the bottle in order to prevent the glass insert from being damaged. Do not soak.

Sebastian Holmbäck

Sebastian Holmbäck (b.1971) is a Danish designer known for his minimalist, deeply functional work. Originally part of the HolmbäckNordentoft design duo, Sebastian Holmbäck is now leading his own studio, Studio Sebastian Holmbäck. The Scandinavian design philosophy is potent in Holmbäck’s work: products ranging from furniture to tableware are all designed for a purpose and for the user, striving for a perfect balance between form, function, end emotion.
