Description

Interface’s Bug ottoman looks irresistibly inviting. Designed by Aino Michelsen, the Bug ottoman features a light, graceful frame on which the plush feather-filled seat rests comfortably. All upholstery parts are removable and replaceable, so the ottoman is both easy to maintain and long-lasting. High-quality leather upholstery brings a dose of down-to-earth harmony to the interior, and the natural patina adds character as years go by.

The ottoman is designed to complement the look and comfort of the Bug armchair, but its sleek and airy look makes it a charming companion to other armchairs as well – and it can also be used separately, as a small stool. The beautifully finished Bug ottoman, made in Finland, is a charming addition to both the living room and public spaces alike.

Aino Michelsen

Aino Michelsen is a Finnish designer whose interest in materials and details is evident in all her work. Michelsen graduated with a Master of Arts from the Royal Academy of Arts in Copenhagen in 2017 and has since set up her own design studio in Helsinki. 

Aino Michelsen has also worked for Finnish furniture manufacturer Interface as a furniture designer, and her work, such as the Bug lounge chair and the Bebé sofa, serve as stellar examples of Michelsen’s ability to create unforgettable designs without sacrificing practicality.
