Description

Kartell's Super Tubby sofa is a modular sofa designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, its deep seat and generously soft shapes inviting a moment of relaxation – short or long, whichever you fancy. Super Tubby is built from large modules that resemble folded cushions, resting on slender metal legs that lend a light, airy contrast. This sofa comes in two differently sized modules, and its viscose-blend cover can be removed and cleaned whenever it needs a refresh.

Made up of interlocking modules, sofas in the Super Tubby collection rearrange effortlessly into new configurations to suit any space or need. Super Tubby is designed as a relaxed centrepiece for the living room, with space for togetherness and quiet naps alike.

Ludovica + Roberto Palomba

Ludovica and Roberto Palomba are architects who work and live in Milan. In 1994 they founded their own studio called Palomba Serafini Associati. Palomba Serafini Associati plans architecture, interior, exhibition and industrial design worldwide. 

Since 2003 Roberto Palomba has also worked as a part time industrial design lecture at the Milan Polytechnic. Ludovica and Roberto Palomba are also Art Directors for many leading brands. They have received numerous international awards like Compasso D'Oro, Elle Decoration International Design Award, Red Dot, Design Plus, Good Design Award and German Design Award.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
