Description

Serax's Seam wall lamp casts a beautiful, soft glow, making it ideal for a living room, bedroom or dining area. Its slightly asymmetrical shade is crafted from porcelain, allowing the light to shine through with a warm, inviting radiance. The white porcelain shade is elegantly contrasted by a black steel body from which the shade is suspended.

Designed by Dutch designer Seppe Van Heusden, the Seam collection emphasises the natural characteristics of the materials, creating a series of lamps that evoke a serene and poetic ambience. The name "Seam" comes from the visible seam on the side of the porcelain shade, a distinctive feature of the casting process.

Seppe Van Heusden

Seppe van Heusden is a Dutch designer specialising in lighting, furniture and interior accessories. He earned his Master of Arts degree in 2020 from Lund University in Sweden, where he began teaching industrial design after graduation. At the same time, he launched his own brand, Vheus. Van Heusden's design philosophy is rooted in the use of architectural influences and bold contrasts, giving his work a contemporary yet timeless feel.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

We want you to love your purchase—that’s why we offer 30-day returns.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.

GST & Import Charges

By providing a valid Australian Business Number (ABN), you confirm that you are registered for GST in Australia. In this case, GST is collected by Australian customs and therefore deducted from the order total at checkout. This deduction is shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.
