Description

Kartell’s Camomille is a characterful portable table lamp whose teapot-like shape pours out a dose of warm light over a reading nook or dining table. Designed by Philippe Starck, the lamp features a wide, shallow shade placed on top, diffusing a gentle and even glow all around. Made from recycled acrylic, Camomille is easy to move from room to room thanks to the handle decorating its side.

The battery-powered Camomille lamp is rechargeable via USB cable and includes a three-level touch dimmer, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit the mood. Depending on the light intensity, the lamp provides between 20 and 100 hours of illumination on a single charge.

Philippe Starck

The french designer Philippe Starck (b. 1949) studied in École Nissim de Camondo in Paris and stayed in Paris after his studies. He became famous for his style and even the president Francois Mitterand asked him to design a suite to his palace. Starck became one of the most famous designers of that time and designed everything from apartment blocks, homes, domestic products and hotels. 

In the 80s and 90s Starck started working for Kartell. The cooperation was built on the company’s will to create eco-friendly, contemporary plastic furniture and the designer's particular style. One of the most iconic designs of our time, the transparent Louis Ghost chair, was one of the results of the cooperation with Kartell.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

Orders shipped to Australia are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST) as following:

For private customers:

  • Orders of AU$1,000 or less (goods value only, excluding shipping and taxes):
    • A 10% GST is included in the prices and paid at checkout.
  • Orders over AU$1,000:
    • GST and any applicable import duties are collected by Australian customs upon arrival and must be paid by the recipient. Since GST is collected by customs, it is deducted from the order total at checkout and shown as a separate line item in the cost breakdown.

Please note that our product pages display prices including 10% GST. As a result, the AU$1,000 threshold effectively applies to orders with a displayed goods value of AU$1,100 or more.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by Australian customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
