Description

The Hedonist figure encourages you to enjoy life and celebrate every moment of it with an open heart. Designed by Danish sculptor Malene Bjelke for Kähler, the small and expressive statue is a member of the Character collection whose five little figures interpret different personalities and attitudes towards the world. The unglazed ceramic statue makes a memorable gift at important life events, and is also a beautiful reminder of the preciousness of life for yourself and your close ones.

Malene Bjelke

Maleke Bjelke is a Danish sculptor whose work derives from long experience from the theater world. Her sculptures often model different human characters, mindsets and thoughts, and the interaction of a figure and the surrounding space is also an essential theme in her work. Bjelke graduated from the Danish Design School in 1993, and in addition to sculpting, she has worked with theater and costumes for over 20 years.
