Description
The Terra wall lamp by Mater is a fine example of how beautiful design and eco-friendly innovation can go hand in hand. Designed by OEO Studio, the lamp’s conical shade is crafted from Mater’s sustainable Matek™ material, which is a unique blend of recycled natural fibers and plastic waste. Materials such as coffee bean shells or wood waste are combined with a binder using compression molding, a technique well known in furniture production.
With its refined, timeless silhouette and the tactile quality of Matek™, the Terra lamp makes a versatile and characterful addition to any interior. The luminaire casts a soft, inviting light on its own, making it ideal for a reading corner in the living room, but also works beautifully in a group on the wall of a hallway or foyer.
