Daniel Schofield

Daniel Schofield is a British designer who studied art, graphic design, carpentry and restoration before getting his degree in furniture and product design at Sheffield Hallam University. Many influences from this wide education can be found form Schofield’s work, but his designs are always based on functionalist principles: Schofield beliefs that every detail must have a function. Schofield has worked with brands such as Woud, Skandium and Benchmark, and he is a winner of many valued design awards, like the Northern Designer of the Year 2017 and Elle Decoration British Design Award 2015.
