Description
HAY's Posto table lamp is Claire Lavabre's pared-back take on the classic dome-shaded desk lamp. The minimalist design is built from three raw aluminum parts, two neatly concealed screws and a bulb fitting. The cable finds a hiding place in the groove that runs along the back of the stem.
Posto casts a pleasantly direct light downwards, making it well suited to reading or working. The lamp is equally at home on a desk or wall shelf, either in a private or an office setting.

Claire Lavabre is a French-born designer and photographer who lives and works in Copenhagen. She got her master’s degree in industrial design at ENSCI/Les Ateliers in Paris in 2012 and built her experience at the studios of Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Inga Sempé and Leon Ransmeier before founding her own studio. Lavabre has worked alongside well-known designers and architects on everything from design and exhibition scenography to interior architecture and art photography.
Balanced compositions are typical of Lavabre’s work: color, texture and form carry as much weight as materials and functionality. In 2025, she joined the design team at the Danish brand HAY.
