Lampampe table lamp by Ingo Maurer is a tribute to lightness. The delicate lamp is crafted from simple yet striking elements: a translucent shade made of Japanese paper, supported by a base fashioned from the very same material. The result is an airy, sculptural design that brings a soft glow to both living rooms and bedrooms alike.

Originally designed by Ingo Maurer in the 1990s, Lampampe’s poetic form feels effortlessly timeless. The table lamp filters light gently, casting a calm and inviting atmosphere. The paper shade rests casually atop a metal frame, and its subtly crinkled surface makes each lamp a truly one-of-a-kind piece – a unique expression of craftsmanship you won’t find anywhere else.

Ingo Maurer

German designer Ingo Maurer (1932–2019) is best known for his imaginative and poetic lighting designs. With a background in graphic design, Maurer founded his own studio in Munich in 1966 and went on to create many iconic lamps that blend playful lightness, craftsmanship and technical innovation. His work has been featured in international design exhibitions as well as in homes and public spaces around the world. For Mayrer, light was never just a functional tool – it is a feeling, a moment, and an experience.
