Description

Designed by Jonas Edvard for the Swedish lighting manufacturer Örsjö, the Konkret is a charming little pendant made of ash veneer with a black tint. In the design of Konkret, Edvard wanted to challange the form and appearance of wooden lamps and pay attention to the texture of a wooden surface. Thanks to its compact size, Konkret fits easily to all kinds of spaces filling them with warm and soft light. The pendant is finished with brass studs and a leather strap.

Jonas Edvard

Jonas Edvard is a Danish product designer who has graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and runs his own studio in Copenhagen. Edvard is interested in the possibilities of different raw and natural materials, and some of his best-known work include lamps made of wood, leather and mushroom fiber.
