Description
Serax’s Earth floor lamp infuses interiors with organic charisma and down-to-earth esthetics. Made by hand from papier-mâché, the table lamp plays captivatingly with light and shadow. The soft texture of its pale surface, distinctive sculptural base and artisanal finish ensure each luminaire is surely a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
The floor lamp is part of Marie Michielssen’s Earth collection, which was inspired by her passion for paper, prints and the reuse of materials. The poetic, naturally refined atmosphere of the Earth series balances between art and design, bringing gentle illumination and timeless harmony to both private homes and public spaces alike.

Belgian designer Marie Michielssen draws her inspiration from everyday life. In her designs, she likes to combine unexpected materials and is particularly fascinated by old, sometimes even forgotten materials. Michielssen’s background as a graphic designer is also often evident in her work. Michielssen has been a house designer for the Belgian lifestyle brand Serax for many years.
