GUBI’s Carmel coffee table is like having a little piece of sunny California right at your home. With its unique design, the table is sure to turn heads and spark conversation. The table gets its distinctive character from the combination of steel legs and a semi-matt tabletop. The tabletop looks even at first glance, but touching it reveals an unexpected surprise: it is actually made of stoneware.
The Carmel coffee table is designed by Oeo Studio, a collaboration between Thomas Lykke and Anne-Marie Buemann. The duo was inspired by their travels along the Pacific coast, and they wanted to capture the same relaxed and carefree atmosphere in the shape and material of the Carmel table – and it really shows! The ceramic coffee table borrows its name from the town called Carmel-by-the-Sea, known in particular as the home of artists. The charming table is the perfect addition to the patio, garden, balcony or home kitchen.
