Skultuna’s BK.FLWR is an elegant brass candleholder designed by design studio Bernadotte & Kylberg. The candleholder’s poetic form was inspired by the forests of the design duo’s home country of Sweden: the delicate decorations around the candleholder are reminiscent of natural flowers growing on the sides of lush forest paths.
As years go by, the candleholder will only become more beautiful, as its surface slowly patinas over time. Untreated brass typically becomes darker in time, and water or grease can leave marks on its surface. If you want the surface to stay shiny, it is important to polish the brass regularly – however, this is completely a matter of taste, and many prefer to let the surface patinate on its own.
