The Pinci candle holder by Massproductions is characterised by a charmingly minimalist design that is also surprisingly functional. Comprising two metal leaves joined by a concealed hinge, the candle holder functions like pliers that clamp the candles in place – hence the name Pinci, which is Italian for "pliers". The Pinci candle holder is part of Massproductions' The Little Things product line, designed by Chris Martin, that comprises a range of smaller furniture and objects. When creating the collection, Martin wanted to focus on the kind of items we encounter in our day-to-day lives but often take for granted. The idea behind The Little Things is to "gild everyday life", as Martin puts it.
