Description

FDB Møbler’s J147 lounge chair, designed by Erik Ole Jørgensen in the 1970s, is part of a collection that combines clean, reduced shapes with aesthetic traditions of Danish furniture design. The J147 lounge chair features a solid oak frame and a spindle backrest, and its seat is upholstered in high-quality semi-aniline leather. The upright backrest and long-lasting materials make the J147 lounge chair an excellent choice for home use as well as for office or hotel interiors.

Erik Ole Jørgensen

Erik Ole Jørgensen (1927–2002) was a Danish furniture designer whose background was in furniture upholstery. Jørgensen’s exceptional sense of shapes, colours and textures led him to design both furniture and textiles. Jørgensen’s designs, such as the wooden furniture designed for FDB Møbler, have made him one of the definitive figures of the Danish modern.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

15% GST is included in all prices presented on our website.

Private customers: For orders of NZD$1,000 or less, a 15% GST is included in the prices. For orders over NZD$1,000, GST is collected by New Zealand customs and therefore deducted from the total amount. The deduction is visible in the cost breakdown at checkout.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by local customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.

Please note that the right to return products does not apply to:

  • Custom-made products which are ordered from the manufacturer according to the customer's wishes.
  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).

Please note that returns are subject to a restocking fee, which varies depending on your region and the item being returned. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
